Mission: To find, develop, and support creative businesses and the entrepreneurs who launch them. 

AEIdeas™ will be a resource for Arts Enterprise members who aspire to develop and launch their own business. If you are not a member, we welcome you to join our group here.

Our first stage of development is to incorporate your thoughts on how to build the program.

How you can help:  In an effort to be as relevant and useful as possible for the next generation of creative entrepreneurs, we request your recommendations on how AEIdeas™ can best serve the needs of these entrepreneurs.  Submit your proposal to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Here are some guidelines to help jumpstart your thinking on the types of details to consider in building this program.  You can add your input on any aspect of the program - address any of these categories or additional ones.

Resources - Answer the question: "What services will AEIdeas™ provide for creative entrepreneurs?"
For example:
  • list of services
  • types of financial assistance          
  • networking assistance and introductions                               
  • type of advice 
  • workspace possibilities
Operational Structure - Answer the question: "What people are needed and how will they be organized?"
For example:
  • for-profit/non-profit
  • staff/volunteers
  • AE members 
  • role of universities and other institutions
  • advisory board role and selection
Selection, Evaluation & Awards - Answer the question: "What is the methodology for resource distribution?"
For example:
  • finding and recruiting candidates
  • judgment criteria
  • levels of awards
  • resource distribution
  • follow-up responsibilities
Business Model - Answer the question: "How will AEIdeas™ make money from the services we provide?"
For example:
  • what are the revenue streams
  • how are services purchased
  • how will you approach pricing
  • explain product sets
  • identify delivery methods

These are by no means the only aspects that you should consider while preparing your proposal.  We are simply offering these as examples to help you start your creative thinking about this program.
